I have been experiencing constant urethral pain for the past two months. After consulting a doctor, I underwent a urine flow test, and based on the results, I was prescribed Levoflox and Alfoo for one month, followed by Alfoo alone for another month. Despite completing the medications, the pain has not reduced. Please advise on what can be done to overcome this problem.

Persistent pain despite treatment may need further evaluation. It could be due to chronic prostatitis or nerve related sensitivity. Kindly revisit your urologist for next steps. Urine culture, PSA test, Prostate ultrasound advised.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Urine Culture Test Test or Take a PSA Test (Prostatic Specific Antigen) Test

View allI have been suffering from a high fever ranging from 102F to 104.6F for the past 5 days. Under my doctor advice, I have undergone tests for malaria, dengue, typhoid, and CBC, all of which came back normal with no problems detected. I am taking my medications properly, but the fever, headaches, and body pain persist. I get some relief for about 5 to 7 hours after taking medicine, but then the symptoms return repeatedly every 5 to 7 hours.
