I have been experiencing fever that comes and goes with chills. After taking paracetamol and antibiotics, the fever subsides. My blood test shows platelets at 1.6 lakh/cmm. Could you please advise if this could be dengue, or what might be causing these symptoms?

A platelet count of 1.6 lakh is normal. Dengue typically causes a drop below 1 lakh. If fever continues with chills and weakness, test for dengue NS1 or IgM, and monitor platelets. Stay hydrated and continue paracetamol as needed.

We have gone through the CBP Dengue and other tests and the result of Dengue NS1 antigen is positive. I have attached the blood report. Could you please suggest the food and medicines?

I received my CBC report today, and my blood platelets have increased from 100,000 to 135,000 in three days. I do not have fever, and I am eating and drinking well. The only issue is that I feel chills. Could this chill be due to low platelets? Despite this, I am performing 3 rounds of push ups (15 each) with 30 second rest. Please advise if the chills are related to platelet count.
