I have been experiencing hair fall for the past five months, and the regrowth of hair has comparatively smaller diameter than before. I consulted a dermatologist and have been on medication for the last one month. My test reports show ferritin 64, vitamin D 28, and thyroid 1.7. I have not seen any improvement. Hair thinning continues, and I also have dandruff. The medicines I am using are Phytoral, Dvion 60X, Biotin, Keraglow shampoo, and Keraglow lotion.

Ferritin and Vitamin D are borderline low for hair growth. Continue supplements. Hair fall takes 3 to 6 months to respond. Avoid stress and harsh shampoos. Consider rechecking thyroid and ferritin in 6 weeks.

Take a Ferritin Test Test or Take a Vitamin D Test Test

View allI was recently cured of chickenpox. My blood test report shows a very low serum ferritin level of 15. Sometimes I notice blood in my stool. I am also experiencing a lot of hair fall, and rashes appear on my skin daily. When I take Livogen to improve my serum ferritin, it causes skin rashes, so I am unable to improve my ferritin levels. Kindly guide me on what I should do.

I have been experiencing severe hair fall for the past two months. I consulted a doctor, and my thyroid test was normal. I was given a vitamin tablet for one month, but there has been no improvement. My hair continues to fall heavily, and I feel like I have lost a large amount. What could be causing this, and what should I do to stop the hair fall?

I have been experiencing significant hair loss, which has led to visible balding patches. I recently underwent hormonal testing, and all results were normal except for low serum ferritin levels. My general physician prescribed Orofer to address the iron deficiency. However, since starting Orofer, I have noticed breakouts (pimples) and irregular periods, which were not an issue before. Could you please advise.
