I have been having chronic lower back pain for the last one year. Low vitamin B12 and D3 were found in my blood report. The X ray report shows L3 L4 L5 disc space reduction and degenerated disc disease with muscle spasm. I had treatment three times and every time after medicine and physiotherapy the pain comes back even after doing exercises and maintaining proper sitting in office. What can be done to get cured from this frustrating lower back pain?

Disc issues and vitamin deficiencies can cause prolonged discomfort. Since pain recurs even with therapy, a prolonged spine care plan might help like postural therapy, guided exercise, and vitamin correction. Sometimes a spine specialist opinion is needed.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a VITAMIN B12 Test or Take a 25-HYDROXY VITAMIN D (D2+D3) Test

I got my period after almost three months, on 15th July. Since then, I have been experiencing an electrical chill sensation on my scalp and tingling on my face below the eyebrows and lips. I consulted a neurosurgeon 8 days ago, described these symptoms, and was prescribed Nuhenz for 15 days with advice to follow up afterward. The electrical chill and tingling have now reduced by 50 to 60 percent. Recently, due to cold weather, I kept cotton in my ears for three days continuously, and now I hear a ringing sound in my left ear when in a quiet space. Additional notes: I had gum bleeding in the front teeth and visited a dentist, who found inflammation and cleaned my teeth. My blood report shows very low Vitamin D and slightly higher than normal TSH levels. Kindly let me know what could be causing these symptoms and what I should do next.

My blood report shows B12 as 63 indicating deficiency and vitamin D as 11.1 indicating insufficiency. I am a pure vegetarian. Is Supradyn okay for this and do I need to take B12 injections as a supplement?
