I have been suffering from jaundice for the last six months. My urine reports are normal. My blood test shows a total bilirubin of 1.61. My doctor has suggested Udiliv 300 tablets twice a day. Is this safe, or is there any other medicine that can help reduce it faster? I have already taken Liv52.

Udiliv (ursodeoxycholic acid) is safe and helps liver recovery. Continue as prescribed. Avoid oily food, alcohol, and monitor LFT monthly.

She is currently on medications for blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol, but has not received a clear diagnosis. Could you please advise on the possible cause of her symptoms and abnormal lab results, the course of treatment, and which specialist doctor she should consult next?
