I have bow legs and really want to avoid surgery are there any non-surgical treatments that could help? Would braces or exercises make a difference? I'm worried about how this might affect me long-term.

Bow legs rarely improve after growth stops—braces work only in children; physiotherapy may ease symptoms but surgery gives structural correction.

My mom is 63 and has severe knee pain in both knees. The doctor recommended knee replacement but she's worried because she's overweight at 80 kg and 5.1 feet tall. Surgery can be done in overweight patients if diabetes is stable; robotic offers better precision, recovery is 4–6 weeks.

I have L5 disc degeneration and my doctor recommended surgery, but I'm trying to avoid it for now. I've done 10 physiotherapy sessions with no relief yet. Do you think Ayurveda, homeopathy, or acupuncture could help manage the pain and improve my condition? I'm really worried about going under the knife and want to explore other options first.

Should I consider surgery for this or can it heal with medication? What medicines would you recommend for my condition?

The need for surgery versus medication depends entirely on your specific condition. A doctor needs to diagnose your condition and assess its severity before recommending a treatment plan. Depending on the diagnosis, medications may be sufficient, or surgery might be necessary. Common pain medications include NSAIDs, opioids, and local anesthetics, but these should only be taken under a doctor's supervision.
