I have a deviated nasal septum causing breathing issues especially through my left nostril. The doctors at AIIMS Delhi suggested surgery and shared a diagnosis report. Can you explain the risks versus benefits of this surgery, possible complications, and how much it might cost?

I'm a bit concerned about drinking alcohol while I'm taking Montek LC. My doctor prescribed it to me, and I'm not sure if there might be any side effects or interactions. Can you tell me if it's safe or if I should avoid drinking?

ideally there is no such interaction between them but as both will cause sedation, better not to consume alchohol when you are sick.

My ears feel really blocked up because of a cold, and it's really messing with my hearing. I'm already on some meds for the cold, but what can I do to fix the ear problem? It's kind of concerning.

To resolve your blocked ears due to cold and improve your hearing, you can try using over-the-counter nasal decongestants like Sudafed (pseudoephedrine) or Afrin (oxymetazoline) spray. These medications can help reduce the congestion in your Eustachian tubes and improve airflow, which may help relieve the blockage in your ears. You can also try using a warm compress on your ears to help alleviate the discomfort and promote drainage. Additionally, staying hydrated and getting plenty of rest can also help your body fight off the cold and reduce congestion.
