I have a full thickness grade 3 tear in the mid segment of my ACL and was told I need surgery. Is there any chance this can heal with just meds or other treatments without going under the knife? How long would recovery take if I don't get surgery?

View allI fractured my ankle with both linear and oblique fractures and a mild dislocation will I need surgery or can plaster treatment fix this? I'm worried about the best way to heal properly
Whether you need surgery or a plaster cast depends on the severity of your ankle fracture and the extent of the dislocation. A mild dislocation might be treated with a cast or boot, while a more severe fracture and dislocation could require surgery to realign the bones and ligaments. Consulting with an orthopedic surgeon is crucial to determine the best treatment plan for your specific injury

I had a complete ACL tear two years ago and haven't had surgery yet should I consider getting it done now? What are the risks if I leave it untreated and how might it affect my mobility long-term?
The knee might heal—the swelling and pain will stop. But a torn anterior cruciate ligament does not reattach or heal itself. You may still be able to live how you want by strengthening your leg and core (your hips contribute to leg strength and function) and adjusting your activities.

I'm really worried because my lower fibula has been swollen for four days now. I recently broke my tibia and fibula, and when I press on top of my fibula, it hurts. I can walk, but there's a bit of pain. Should I be concerned, and do you think I should see a doctor about it?
