I have a full thickness grade 3 tear in the mid segment of my ACL and was told I need surgery. Is there any chance this can heal with just meds or other treatments without going under the knife? How long would recovery take if I don't get surgery?

Grade 3 ACL tear won’t heal fully without surgery; non-op rehab may offer some support, but risk of instability remains—surgery ensures full recovery in active individuals.

View allI just found out I have a grade 2 ligament tear in my right knee can this heal on its own with rest and rehab or will I need ACL surgery to fix it properly
A grade 2 ligament tear in your knee, specifically the ACL, can often heal with conservative treatment like rest, ice, and physical therapy, but surgery may be needed in some cases. The decision to operate depends on factors like the ligament involved, your activity level, and your overall health.

I completely tore my ACL in my left knee playing football two years ago but only did basic first aid like icing and rest then slowly started walking again Now it feels unstable and I keep slipping Should I get surgery right away or try exercises first
Long-standing ACL tears causing instability often require surgical reconstruction for full recovery and joint stability.
