View allMy mom had surgery 5 months ago and just started weight bearing as the doctor advised. Her recent x-ray shows one of the screws has moved slightly but the doctor said it shouldn't be an issue and told her to keep walking. Now she's feeling pain when she walks even though she hasn't really started walking properly yet. Is this normal?
Mild screw movement post-surgery is common but pain on walking suggests possible irritation—limit weight bearing and recheck X-ray or get second opinion.

My mom has a high grade ACL tear and the doctor recommended surgery but we're worried about the risks so we're trying ayurvedic treatment instead. There's a well-known ayurvedic doctor who gives her a lape to apply on and below the knee along with some oil. Can an ACL tear actually heal with ayurveda or is surgery the only real option?

I'm noticing that my leg is a lot thinner compared to the rest of my body, and I'm not really feeling a lot of energy in it. I always seem to have knee pain in both of my legs. I'm really worried and not sure what to do about it. Do you have any advice?
It sounds like you're experiencing weakness and pain in your legs, which could be related to muscle weakness, poor circulation, or other health factors. It's important to consult a doctor to identify the underlying cause, and in the meantime, regular leg exercises, proper nutrition, and staying hydrated might help improve strength and reduce pain.
