I have a pilonidal sinus and doctors are recommending surgery to remove hair from the area. Is there any alternative treatment that could help me avoid surgery? I'm a bit worried about going under the knife and would prefer other options if they exist. What are my choices here?

I have a perineal abscess and the pain is really bad near it, is there any way to treat it without surgery
A perineal abscess often requires drainage to relieve pain and prevent worsening infection. In some early or mild cases, antibiotics and warm sitz baths may help temporarily, but surgery (incision and drainage) is usually the definitive treatment. Please consult a doctor promptly to avoid complications.

Is it okay to have gallbladder surgery during my period since my operation is scheduled for October 1st and I might be on my cycle then
Yes, it is generally okay to have surgery during your period, including a gallbladder surgery. Your period does not affect the surgical outcome or need to be rescheduled. While it may be a little more uncomfortable, surgeons are accustomed to dealing with blood during surgery, and it's important to inform the medical staff so they can provide you with appropriate sanitary products and assistance
