I have pterygium in both eyes and my doctor recommended surgery to remove it since it's affecting my vision. What's the safest surgical option for this and how many days of leave should I take from work for recovery?

View allI have myopia with 5 and 4 power in my right and left eye and recently started seeing flashes. I also have retinal degeneration. I've seen four doctors two recommended barrage laser as a precaution while the other two said to wait unless my retina detaches. I'm 28 and unsure if I should get the laser done now or wait. If I do go for it, should it be done in one session for both eyes or split into multiple sittings? What would you suggest?
Barrage laser can prevent retinal detachment in high-risk degeneration; it’s usually safe to do both eyes in one sitting—go ahead if advised by retina specialist.

I need to get surgery to correct my vision but my cornea is thin and my power is 7.00 so LASIK isn't an option. My doctor recommended SMILE but I've read about some drawbacks. I also came across Contoura Vision which seems better. With a thin cornea, which one should I go for? I don't want ICL.
With thin cornea, SMILE is safer than LASIK but less accurate for high power—Contoura needs more thickness; ICL is most precise but invasive.

I'm 22 with -3 power in both eyes and considering LASIK surgery but worried about side effects or risks what should I know before deciding
Lasik surgery if done from the right place also from an experienced doctor, usually has no complications With latest technology it’s very safe -3 is decent and will get rid of it easily
