I have a sack-like growth near my belly button on the right side, about the size of a jackfruit seed. My family doctor said it's not serious and can be removed with a simple surgery. Should I see a dermatologist or a general surgeon for this?

my doctor diagnosed me with a supra umbilical hernia and the ultrasound showed a 12.6 mm defect. is there any way this can heal on its own without needing surgery?
