I have a stiff neck and jaw pain behind my left ear with intermittent sharp pain in the lower left jaw. Cardiac issues are ruled out, and posture seems to be causing the neck problem, but the doctor thinks my wisdom tooth might be responsible for the jaw and ear pain. They recommended surgery can you review the report and advise if that's the right approach?

It's understandable to be concerned about the possibility of surgery for wisdom teeth when you're experiencing a complex set of symptoms. Given your symptoms, the possibility of wisdom teeth being the cause of jaw and ear pain, and a history of stiff neck, consulting a second opinion is recommended, and a thorough evaluation is crucial to determine the right approach.

View allI'm trying to figure out whether I should go to a dentist or a maxillofacial surgeon for wisdom teeth extraction which one would be better for the procedure? Also, how long does the whole surgery usually take to recover from? I'm a bit nervous about the process and recovery time.
For wisdom teeth extraction, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is generally the better choice, especially for complex cases. Recovery time typically ranges from a few days to two weeks

how much does it usually cost to get an oral fibroma removed from the inner cheek mine happened because my braces kept rubbing against it and now i'm worried about the surgery
The cost of oral fibroma removal can vary depending on location and the healthcare facility, It's a minor outpatient procedure done under local anesthesia and usually takes less than 30 minutes. Since it developed due to irritation from braces, removal is safe and recurrence is unlikely if the cause is addressed.

I'm really having a hard time with my wisdom teeth coming in since there's no space for them. It's tearing my skin in the mouth and I've also been dealing with some painful canker sores right next to that tooth for the past few days. My right jaw is a bit swollen, and the pain is just unbearable. I feel feverish with a mild headache. What should I do to get some relief?
It sounds like you're experiencing a painful situation with your wisdom teeth, possibly leading to infection or irritation. I recommend rinsing your mouth with warm saltwater to soothe the pain, using over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen, and applying a topical ointment for the canker sores. However, given the swelling, fever, and persistent pain, it's important to see a dentist or oral surgeon as soon as possible to assess if theres an infection or need for extraction.
