I have submitted my brother lipid profile report. His cholesterol and LDL levels are high. Could you please suggest appropriate treatment or management options?

Recommend low fat diet, more fiber, exercise, no smoking. Recheck in 3 months. If high persists, lipid lowering medication may be needed.

Homocysteine is elevated at 46.6 micromol/L. Ferritin is high at 613.2 ng/ml. HDL cholesterol is low at 25 mg/dl, triglycerides are high at 227 mg/dl, TC/HDL cholesterol ratio is 7.1, LDL/HDL ratio is 4.6, and VLDL cholesterol is 45.4 mg/dl. My blood report shows raised cholesterol values. Total cholesterol 221, triglycerides 224, LDL 159, VLDL 44.8, HDL 35. Is there any need for medicine for these values?
