I have a tooth open bite caused by lower jaw elongation and my doctor says it's a class 3 case. They recommended braces, then a splint, and finally surgery but the surgery costs around 1.8 lakh which I can't afford. Is there any other treatment option that could work without surgery? What would be the approximate cost for non-surgical approaches?

Lastly, what can I expect in terms of the treatment cost?

I'm a 25-year-old guy with an overbite and class 2 malocclusion is jaw surgery the only option for fixing this or are there safer alternatives? I'm a bit worried about the risks of surgery and wondering if braces or other treatments could work instead

Braces and other orthodontic treatments can often be effective for milder cases, and in some situations, a combination of orthodontics and functional appliances (like headgear) might be used
