I'm feeling really dizzy and it's been going on for about 5 weeks now. Can you tell me why this might be happening? Is dizziness like this common, and how long does it usually last for people with vertigo? I'm currently taking flunarizine and betahistine as prescribed by an ENT specialist. Do these medications seem right for my issue?

I'm wondering if it's okay to rinse my mouth with fresh water after using Betadine for gargling. Also, if I can't rinse, is it safe to swallow the saliva that comes after gargling, because I read somewhere it might cause thyroid issues? And how long should I wait before eating or drinking anything post-gargling?
There is no such specific indication do it in your comfortable way.
