I received my routine blood test report, which shows an MPV of 13.6. Could you please advise if this requires any precautions or if there is anything to be concerned about? Regards, Upkar

An MPV or Mean Platelet Volume of 13.6 is slightly on the higher side but usually not a concern on its own. If other blood counts are normal and you feel well, there is no reason to worry. No treatment is needed unless advised by your doctor.

View allHi, from the last 4 to 5 days I feel tired and have body pain mostly in the joints. I have cough and yesterday I also had a headache. Two days ago I went to the hospital and did blood tests. Blood urea level is 21. Serum creatinine is 0.90. SGPT is 18. I am taking tablets as per the doctor prescription, Ortil CV 500, Montek LC, Superia DSR, and Tossex cough syrup. But still I am not feeling well. Please advise?

My baby is 1.6 years old. Last week, he had fever, cold, and cough. Now, the fever has subsided and he only coughs occasionally, but I have noticed that he is more cranky than usual and sleeps a lot. Is this normal post-viral behavior, or should I be concerned about his activity level? I am a bit worried. I have attached his blood report for your review.

My daughter has a stomachache. The test reports show mild hepatomegaly and a few reactive mesenteric lymph nodes on the USG report. Her complete blood report shows neutrophils 34 percent (normal 45 to 70 percent) and lymphocytes 64 percent (normal 25 to 45 percent).
