I received my routine blood test report, which shows an MPV of 13.6. Could you please advise if this requires any precautions or if there is anything to be concerned about? Regards, Upkar

An MPV or Mean Platelet Volume of 13.6 is slightly on the higher side but usually not a concern on its own. If other blood counts are normal and you feel well, there is no reason to worry. No treatment is needed unless advised by your doctor.

My mother tested COVID+ on 28/08/20. She has not repeated the test. Her latest blood report shows CRP higher than 0.20 and serum ferritin 130 (screenshot attached). She still feels weak and has gastric issues. Could you please suggest some diet tips or a tonic to improve her strength?

I had a D&C on 9th March. For the last three to four days, I have been experiencing pelvic pain and was taking Meftas Spas. Yesterday, the pain increased so much that I had to rush to the hospital and get a USG done, both transvaginal and whole abdomen. The transvaginal scan detected a retention cyst of 4.4 cm. The pain is continuing and is unbearable. Please suggest if there is anything to worry about. MetPCO has been advised. This was my first abortion, and I plan to conceive again within three months. Are there any worries? I have attached my report.
