I recently did my lipid profile test. My results show HDL: 36 and Apolipoproteins: 108, which are outside the normal range. Please advise on what steps I should take to manage these levels. I have attached my report for reference.

HDL is low, ApoB slightly high, both raise cardiovascular risk. Increase physical activity, omega 3 intake, and reduce trans fats.

View allDear Doctor, please suggest what to do? My husband HDL levels are very low. He was using statins to control triglycerides, which were over 100 and are now 171. I am worried about his HDL levels. His lipid profile shows total cholesterol 118 mg/dl, HDL cholesterol 24 mg/dl, LDL cholesterol 60 mg/dl, triglycerides 171 mg/dl, TC/HDL cholesterol ratio 4.9, LDL/HDL ratio 2.5, VLDL cholesterol 34.2 mg/dl, and non-HDL cholesterol 93.6 mg/dl.
