I recently underwent a medical checkup, and my report shows that I have a vitamin B12 deficiency. I would like to know how much time it typically takes to recover from B12 deficiency without using any external supplements.

Recovery without supplements may take longer and depends on your diet. However, supplementation (oral or injection) is often advised for quicker improvement. Symptoms usually start improving within 2 to 4 weeks once corrected.

View allI have been chewing tobacco and gutkha for several years, and over time, my mouth opening has reduced and my jaws have become stiff. I am very concerned and depressed because of this. I am unable to eat spicy food, and I also sweat a lot while eating. Could you please suggest if any ointment can be applied to the inner mouth or jaw area? Also, what tests should I undergo to evaluate this condition?

Two months ago, I had a blood test, and my hemoglobin was 6. My doctor prescribed Livogen and Ultrafeolic tablets, which I have been taking for 2 months. My hemoglobin has now improved to 10, but my heels are cracking and very painful. I have tried creams like crack cream, white petroleum jelly, and Vaseline, but nothing helps. Why is this happening, and what can I do to treat it?
