I recently underwent Vamanam, Virechana, and Vasti. Since childhood, I have experienced very poor concentration, difficulty with memory retention (especially verbal), wrinkled and dry skin, continuous gas and bloating. After these three Panchakarma treatments, I felt some improvement, especially in memory retention, though the issue still persists. An allopathy doctor reviewed my blood report and mentioned that I lack certain enzymes and minerals essential for metabolism. He also suggested I may have fatty liver or chronic fatty liver, which could lead to toxins in the blood affecting brain concentration, thinking, and memory. Would undergoing Raktamokshana help me?

Raktamokshana is traditionally believed to detoxify, but medical issues like nutrient deficiencies, hypothyroidism, or liver dysfunction need evaluation first. Brain fog and dryness may result from B12, Vitamin D, zinc deficiency, or sluggish liver. Repeat key labs and treat deficiencies before relying on further alternative therapies.
