Question

I recently went to a pulmonologist and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was put on coamoxiclav antibiotics for a week and duavent for nebulizing. But it's been two weeks since my follow-up visit, and I'm still coughing up phlegm. The doctor has now prescribed me levofloxacin and zykast. I'm a bit worried since I'm breastfeeding. Should I be concerned about these medications? Also, why hasn't my cough improved?

I'm really worried about my dadhe's 53 and caught COVID on March 30th. He had a fever for four days, and after talking to the doctor, we did an HRCT of his chest. It showed a mild infection with about 10-15% of lung involvement. The doc gave him some medicine called Ferocort and Syncrobreath, plus a cough syrup. But the thing is, he's still coughing a lot. It's kind of annoying because this has been happening on and off every few months. I went to a chest physician and he said everything seems fine after doing a spirometry test and a chest x-ray, which were both normal. I'm confused and a bit worried because I still feel breathless. Could there be something else going on that's causing this problem?
