I was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis with liver cirrhosis in 2015. I weigh 65 kg and am taking Omnacortil 10 mg and Azoran 50 mg. I often feel nauseated and full, and I have not been able to gain weight. Recent reports show no signs of cirrhosis, but autoimmune hepatitis persists. Blood tests reveal a vitamin D deficiency. I experience constant muscle weakness and pain in my leg muscles and bones. Is this situation serious? How can I recover from the vitamin D deficiency, and what steps should I take to improve my muscle strength and overall health?

Autoimmune hepatitis with past cirrhosis needs regular monitoring, and muscle weakness and bone pain may be due to Vitamin D deficiency and steroid use. Take Vitamin D supplements as advised by your doctor, get sunlight, and maintain a balanced diet. Nausea and fullness may be related to liver health. Eat small, frequent meals. Do a Serum Calcium and Repeat Vitamin D test after 8 weeks to monitor recovery.

View allHello doctor, my mom is 55 years old. Her hemoglobin level and platelet count are normal, and she is not anemic, but she still has consistent body pains and feels very tired. Can you help me understand the reason for this?

My 25 hydroxy vitamin D value is 10.4 ng/ml. According to the lab report, the minimum should be 20 ng/ml. I have to remain mostly indoors due to the nature of my job. Please suggest the daily dosage of vitamin D and the duration of medication required to attain and maintain normal levels.

Hi, I have been suffering from gastric problems for the past 1.5 years and have been taking allopathic medicines. However, during this time, my Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 levels became low. I am looking for a permanent cure that addresses the root cause without side effects. Is there a homeopathic treatment available for this? Please advise.
