I was diagnosed with thyroid 2 months ago but did not consult a doctor. Can I use the same 2 month old report to consult now, or do I need to get tested again?

You can use your 2 month old thyroid report for your initial doctor consultation. Share any symptoms like weight changes, hair fall, or tiredness with your doctor during the visit. Your doctor may suggest repeating the Thyroid Profile test (TSH, T3, T4) if needed, to check current levels before starting or adjusting treatment. Do not delay treatment, as thyroid imbalance can affect your overall health. Maintain a balanced diet and hydration while awaiting consultation.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test

View allPreviously my report was on June T3 113, T4 13.9 and TSH 3.76. Recently my report is on March T3 102, T4 10.7 and TSH 3.27. Presently I am taking Thyronorm 50 medicine daily once. Will I continue the same dose or should I lower it? Please suggest?

My thyroid level has increased to 35. I do not know what to avoid and what to do to keep the levels normal. Please suggest.

Hello Doctor, I am a 33 year old female, mother of two, and have been taking Thyronorm 100 mcg for thyroid treatment over the past 6 years. I recently had a thyroid test, and the results show that TSH and T3 are within the normal range, while Free T4 is slightly elevated. I have no other complaints. Please advise if I can continue my current dosage.
