I was found HLA B27 positive last week. I have been experiencing back pain for one year and cramps in both legs. My doctor (MD, BAMS) prescribed the following medicines: Rabewal LSR (rabeprazole sodium 20 mg, levosulpiride 75 mg) BD before meals Saaz (sulfasalazine USP 500 mg) BD Gabaxon (methylcobalamin 500 mcg, gabapentin 300 mg) Half tablet BD Soft P (nimesulide 100 mg, paracetamol 325 mg) BD Wysolone (prednisolone 5 mg) BD Lasilactone (furosemide 20 mg, spironolactone 50 mg) Half tablet OD Is this the correct treatment for my condition?

You have symptoms of Ankylosing Spondylitis. The medication list is appropriate: Saaz (sulfasalazine) is standard, Gabapentin for nerve pain, Wysolone short term steroid, Rabewal LSR for gastric protection. Continue meds, but rheumatologist supervision is crucial for long term management.

Sir, I had been suffering from joint pains and body swelling. After taking medication, my joint pains have been cured. However, there is still swelling in my hands and foot fingers, along with cough and bitter taste in the mouth. According to my blood report, S. Uric acid is 7.1, Rheumatoid factor is negative, and ASO titer is positive.
