View allHey, I noticed this hard lump on my right rib cage. It doesn't hurt when I touch it, and it stays in place, feeling just like bone. But sometimes it hurts a little on its own, and I've got this pain around my right shoulder blade too. Any idea what this could be?
The bony lump on your right rib cage, which is hard, non-mobile, and occasionally painful, along with referred pain to the right shoulder blade, may indicate a benign bone growth or lesion, such as an osteochondroma, costal exostosis, or a bone spur, but a thorough medical evaluation, including imaging tests like X-rays or a CT scan, is necessary to determine the exact cause and appropriate course of action.

my doctor said the fibula bone near my ankle is broken and recommended surgery but I'm unsure if it's really needed can it heal on its own without surgery or is surgery the only option
A fractured fibula near the ankle can sometimes heal without surgery, but it depends on the type and severity of the fracture. Surgery might be necessary for displaced or unstable fractures, or if other parts of the leg are also injured.

I've had back pain for about a year now and my X-ray showed spondylolysis at L5-S1. I've heard about chiropractic care but I'm really not keen on surgery. What would you recommend as the best treatment option for this?
Core training and strengthening of back muscles play a major role in managing back pain. Dynamic stimulation therapy for strengthening of back muscles have shown good results in similar cases. It gives long lasting pain relief and also helps to arrest further degeneration.
