I'm 23 and dealing with tuberculosis, and I'm on medication for it. But lately, I've developed pulmonary fibrosis, and I'm super concerned about what's next. Is there any way to treat or even cure pulmonary fibrosis? My doctor mentioned it's irreversible but suggested that maybe it's not so bad since I'm young. Is it true that being young might help with managing this? I've read that people with pulmonary fibrosis might only live up to 35 yearsthat's really worrying me. Is there hope or treatment options out there?

View allI'm really concerned about my sister who's been in treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis for a bit now. Her recent x-ray showed 45% damage on her right lung and 15% on the left one. These numbers worry me, and I'm unsure if this is a serious issue. The doctors mentioned lung cavities. Does this mean shes in a risky situation? Also, shes able to sit and walk but gets tired quickly when walking for too long. Shes only 20 years old. Is there any possibility that her lungs can heal and return to their original state? I'm wondering if the damage can be reversed since she's still young.
yes there are chances it can become normal. it takes sometime after completion of treatment

I'm a 20-year-old female dealing with active pulmonary tuberculosis, and I've been on treatment for about 1.5 months now. The doctor said my x-ray shows that 70% of my lung is damaged, and there are large cavities. I'm having severe white-colored cough that just won't quit, and I'm exhausted all the timeI can't even stand without feeling the need to sit down. Any exercise or even short walks wipe me out completely. Given that I've been on medication for a while now, shouldn't the severe cough have improved by now? Is there any chance my lungs can heal and return to their previous state without cavities? And this tirednesscould it be a side effect of the anti-tuberculosis medicine I'm on?
yes your tiredness us because of tuberculosis medicine, take highly nutritious food. after proper treatment your lungs will become normal
