I'm 25 years old and 163cm tall my dad is the same height. I've been seriously considering limb lengthening surgery or human growth hormone treatment to increase my height. I've always wondered how so many people end up tall even when their parents are short. Can you guide me on whether these options would work for me and what the risks might be?

My mom is 64 and has osteoporosis with knee pain in both legs. She had an accident 10 years ago and still has a rod in her left thigh that runs from the upper thigh to just above the knee. I'm wondering if the rod needs to be removed before she gets knee replacement surgery. Also, the doctor suggested replacing both knees what are the risks and success rates for someone with her condition?

I've been having this ache-like pain when I lift my left hand or lean on my left elbow, and it's been going on for about 23 years now. It's weird because the pain goes away if I keep doing the movement repeatedly. Sometimes, touching my chest on the left side hurts, but other times I don't feel anything. What do you think could be going on?
