I'm 28 and tested positive for Covid about 13 days ago. Since the 8th day, I'm finding it really hard to deal with this chest and throat issue. It's like mucus is stuck, and it won't come out or go down. Sleeping at night is a huge problemevery time I try to fall asleep, I feel this prick in my throat that comes with a lot of coughing, but the mucus just won't clear. My chest hurts and I have headaches from all this, trying to get the mucus out. I'm taking air fast tabs, tripofed syrup, ac long tabs, and I've even tried all kinds of home remedies but nothing's helping. It's driving me crazy, to the point I'm having really bad thoughts because of how uncomfortable this is. I've seen a lot of doctors, but no one's been able to give me the right treatment. Can you help me figure out what's going on and what I can do to feel better?

I've been having this strange feeling like I need to cough, but nothing really comes out. Sometimes it's like there's this jelly-like substance when I do manage to cough. Plus, my neck and back have been hurting on and off. Should I be worried about this? What could be causing these symptoms?

I'm really concerned because since yesterday I've been experiencing this chest pain on the right side whenever I exhale. It's like a sharp pain whenever I breathe out. Could this be something serious? What might be causing this, and what should I do?

Based on your symptoms, it is important to rule out any serious conditions such as a pulmonary embolism or pleurisy. However, if it is determined to be musculoskeletal in nature, you can consider taking ibuprofen (Advil) 400mg every 4-6 hours as needed for pain relief. Additionally, applying a warm compress to the affected area may also help alleviate the discomfort. Remember to rest and avoid any activities that worsen the pain. If the pain persists or worsens, please seek medical attention promptly.

I'm really worried about my husband because he catches a cold way too easily. It's like every month he's sick, running a fever because of a runny nose and cough, and it also causes him breathing problems. I'm wondering if this means we should see a pulmonologist or maybe another type of specialist. He's shown some minor asthma symptoms as well. What do you think? Could you give some advice on what steps we might take?
