I'm 38 and have had varicose veins in my left leg for about a year with no pain so far but my doctor recommended vein stripping surgery. Do I really need the surgery right now and what could happen if I delay or skip it? Also what are the risks if I do go through with the procedure?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Venous stripping is a type of treatment for varicose veins. After surgery the there will not be a problem of varicose veins. Consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management.

View allMy left leg has mild pain and varicose veins when I walk or jog for an hour. The doctor said there's no valve damage yet and recommended Daflon tablets and stockings, but I'm worried about it turning into DVT later. Can I get laser surgery now to prevent complications or should I stick to the current treatment plan?
Given the mild symptoms and lack of valve damage, sticking to the doctor's recommended treatment plan of Daflon tablets and stockings is likely the best approach initially. While varicose veins can increase the risk of DVT, they also often progress slowly

My mom was diagnosed with varicose veins and allopathy suggested surgery while homeopathy gave her medicines that replaced her entire diet but made her restless and constipated Now we're considering acupuncture does it actually help with varicose veins or is it just another temporary fix
Limb elevation ,vein stripping and thrombolytic agents are advised to the patient.
