I'm 4 months out from ACL surgery and wondering if smoking or drinking alcohol could mess with my recovery does it slow down healing or weaken the graft?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Alcohol and smoking delay healing and graft integration—avoid for at least 6 months post-ACL surgery for optimal recovery.

View allI've had lower back pain for 2 months and calf pain for 6 months my knee MRI was normal but lumbar spine MRI showed mild to moderate L5 S1 disc bulge and mild L4 L5 bulge with pain radiating down my left leg. I feel numbness in my left leg's second toe. Do I really need steroid injections or can exercises help without surgery?
With a mild to moderate L5-S1 disc bulge and mild L4-L5 bulge causing lower back pain and radiating down the left leg, including numbness in the second toe, you should explore conservative treatments like physical therapy and potentially a steroid injection before considering surgery. These non-surgical options can help manage pain and improve function

how risky is ulnar nerve transposition surgery and what kind of complications can happen after it also when can i start working out again after the procedure
Ulnar nerve transposition surgery, while generally safe, carries some risks including infection, nerve damage, and persistent symptoms. Complications like nerve injury, failure to decompress the nerve completely, infection, and thrombophlebitis are possible. Return to working out depends on the individual and the type of exercise, but generally, light activities can be resumed around 8 weeks, with a full return to unrestricted activity taking up to 24 weeks

I'm really concerned because I've been dealing with shoulder pain for the past two weeks, and applying things like Moov or Relaxyl hasn't helped at all. It feels like my head is leaning forward when I walk, and there's this uncomfortable stiffness radiating from my shoulder down my back. Could you help me understand what's going on and suggest what I should do next?
