Im 5 months pregnant and I have scoliosis, which has damaged one of my lungs due to my spine's curvature. I had TB back in 2015 and started experiencing some coughing with mucus in December. After initial treatment, it didnt improve but got better on its own from January to February. Then in March, I had issues with mucus and breathing. My pulmonologist put me on Augment 625 in March, but it didnt help. After that, he prescribed a nebulizer with Duolin and Budesonide for 20 days, and that gave me a bit of relief. Recently, he prescribed Flutrol 400 inhaler and nebulizer urgently, but I'm coughing all the time now. Ive been told it might be COPD and old Kochs disease. Ive never smoked, so Im confused and a bit worried about being diagnosed with COPD. Can someone really have COPD without ever smoking? What could be causing my constant coughing?

View allI've been tested positive for Covid on July 30, 2020, but I didn't have any symptoms. They admitted me to the hospital anyway and did all sorts of tests like CBC, kidney, liver, d-dimer, ferritin, and some ECG and chest X-ray, and everything came back normal. I got out after a week and have been quarantining at home for six days now. The past three days, I've been feeling like I have this chest fullness, kind of like gastric issues. I went back to the hospital and got another X-ray, which looks fine. But my Spo2 levels have been always between 93 and 96 since I got home. I'm not really experiencing anything else, but I'm worried about how to improve my Spo2 levels. Can you give me some advice?

I'm feeling really confused and a bit worried after I got my results from a pre-medical exam for work on Wednesday. My X-ray results mentioned something about "pulmo clearance," and I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. I haven't had any issues with TB, or even a cough in the past year. Can you help me understand what I should do next?
"Pulmo clearance" in your X-ray result likely indicates that there are no significant issues or abnormalities in your lungs, and your lungs appear clear. Its reassuring that you haven't experienced symptoms like coughing, especially related to tuberculosis (TB). Given your history, its important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further clarification and ensure that all pre-employment health requirements are met.

I'm currently on treatment for tuberculosis, and I've been running a fever between 99.5 and 100.3 during the day, but at night it's spiking up to 102-103. It's been almost 27 days since I started the treatment. I'm just wondering if this level of fever is normal and when I might see some improvement. Could you shed some light on what's going on?
start taking dolo650mg at night if you are facing this issue. If it is still not reducing take injection paracetamol IM for 3 days.
