I'm a bit concerned about the mild fatty infiltration of my liver and the multiple lipomas found in my recent ultrasound. Also, my blood test showed Bilirubin at 1.58 mgdL, SGPT at 57 UL, and SGOT at 36 UL. I drink alcohol about once a week and my doctor prescribed ME12 OD tablets due to a low vitamin B12 level of 232 pgmL. Could taking this B12 supplement affect my liver condition negatively? Would love your advice.

The prescribed ME12 OD tablet, containing vitamin B12, is unlikely to have a negative impact on your liver condition, as vitamin B12 deficiency can actually exacerbate liver damage; in fact, correcting the deficiency may help improve liver function, and the mild fatty infiltration of the liver and elevated SGPT levels may benefit from vitamin B12 supplementation.

View allI've been dealing with anxiety and these really troublesome gastric issues. Sometimes after lunch, if I'm out in the sun and either walk about a kilometer or climb some stairs, my heart rate just shoots up and my blood pressure feels high. But it usually calms down after about 15 minutes. I'm wondering if there's a link between the lunch and these heart rate spikes when I'm active like this. Could it really be connected to my gastric problems?
It is possible that your gastric issues and anxiety are contributing to your high heart rate and high blood pressure during physical activity. To help with your symptoms, you can try taking Pantoprazole (40mg) for your gastric issues and Escitalopram (10mg) for anxiety. Additionally, you can take Propranolol (20mg) before physical activity to help lower your heart rate and blood pressure. Remember to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new medications.

My brother has grade 2 internal hemorrhoids with 3 columns and also fatty liver grade 2 with bilirubin at 2.38. He gets slight bleeding during constipation should he consider surgery for the hemorrhoids or is there another way to manage it?
Grade 2 internal hemorrhoids can often be managed with diet, hydration, and meds—surgery if bleeding persists.

I've been dealing with a constipation issue and I'm currently using freelaxsp syrup. Do you have any tips or remedies to help prevent it from coming back? I'm really eager to find a solution that works.
To prevent constipation, consider incorporating dietary changes, such as increasing fiber intake through fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, drinking plenty of water, exercising regularly, and establishing a consistent bowel routine; additionally, you can try natural remedies like triphala powder, psyllium husk, or flaxseeds, but consult your doctor before stopping or replacing Freelax-SP syrup with any new supplements.
