I'm a bit concerned about my liver test results. My SGPT is showing 73, but my SGOT is within the normal range. The SGOTSGPT ratio is 0.47. Should I be worried about this? Everything else seems normal in my tests, but I'm not sure if these liver enzyme levels are problematic. Can you help me understand if this is something to be concerned about?

Get a prescription for oral antifungal medications like fluconazole or itraconazole.
Consider using a combination of topical and oral antifungal medications.
Maintain good hygiene, wear loose clothing, and avoid sharing personal items.
Apply a topical cream like clotrimazole or miconazole, as prescribed by your doctor.
Seek immediate medical attention if the infection worsens or spreads further.

View allMy friend had an endoscopy last week and they found a small hiatal hernia with some LAK lesions. They've been dealing with gastric issues for 3 years now antacids haven't helped at all. Is this something that can improve with meditation or lifestyle changes, or is surgery the only option? How serious is this condition?
A small hiatal hernia, especially with some LAK lesions (likely meaning low-grade acute inflammation), may be managed with lifestyle changes and medication, and surgery isn't always the first option. While antacids might not have been effective, other treatments like H2 blockers or proton pump inhibitors could be helpful. Meditation and lifestyle adjustments, such as weight management, can also help manage symptoms.

I'm dealing with drooling for the past few months and I've heard it might be from worms in the stomach. I've had worm issues before, so I'm concerned this might be related. How can I put an end to this problem once and for all? Also, I've noticed a big gain in weight over the past couple of years. Could these be connected? What should I do?
Drooling may be related to various causes, and its important to get an accurate diagnosis from a healthcare provider. Worm infestations are treatable with medications, but they are unlikely to be the direct cause of drooling. For weight gain, a combination of dietary changes, physical activity, and medical consultation is necessary to manage the condition effectively.

I recently had a fibroscan that showed no fibrosis, but my SGOT is 70, SGPT is 45. My total bilirubin level is 1.2, with direct bilirubin at 0.8, and my uric acid is 7.9. Should I be worried about these numbers, and what can I do to improve my liver health?
