I'm a bit confused about how to take econorm medicine. Should I be taking it twice a day after breakfast and dinner? Or is it better to take it before meals? I'm really worried about getting it right any advice would be appreciated!

View allMy wife Rita Datta is 58 and from Kolkata. She's been dealing with indigestion and loss of appetite, which has led to a lot of weight loss. A gastroenterologist at Peerless Hospital suggested an USG, and the report showed a large mass pushing her left kidney and spleen. They recommended a CT scan, which we did, and the gastrosurgeon advised immediate surgery. We've attached all the reports could you take a look and let us know what you think? We're really worried and not sure what the next steps should be
I can understand your concern. You haven't attached any reports as such with this question here. Also, why did you change doctors? And if immediate surgery is required, then i think you should get the surgery done. Consult a gastroenterologist in person for further evaluation and management

Can someone help me with understanding if radish, especially the white kind, is okay for acidity issues? A friend mentioned radish juice could help with my constipation, but since it has a spicy taste, I'm worried it might actually cause more acidity.

Hey, I was hoping you could help me out with something. My friend has been having some trouble ever since she started drinking milk again after a two-year break. Whenever she has milk on an empty stomach, like in the morning or before bed, she ends up with gas issues and sometimes an upset stomach. Its been going on for about six months now. Could it be the milk that's causing the problem, or do you think it might be something else? And are there any ways to deal with this or things she should be doing differently?
It is possible that she may have developed lactose intolerance. Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose, the sugar found in milk and dairy products. Symptoms include gas, bloating, and stomach upset after consuming dairy products. To help alleviate these symptoms, your friend can try taking lactase enzyme supplements before consuming milk or dairy products. These supplements help break down lactose and may reduce the symptoms of lactose intolerance. Additionally, she can try consuming lactose-free milk or dairy products, such as lactose-free milk or almond milk. It is important for your friend to consult with a doctor or a gastroenterologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
