I'm a bit worried about my CT report that mentions I have a soft tissue pleural-based nodular lesion in the left upper lobe. It's measuring about 27x18x30 mm. I'm not sure if I should go for a biopsy or a PET scan next. Could you advise on what might be the best course of action?

I've had a cough and minor fever that started about 10 days ago. I took some medicine for it, but my cough still hasn't gotten any better.
