I'm a bit worried about my CT report that mentions I have a soft tissue pleural-based nodular lesion in the left upper lobe. It's measuring about 27x18x30 mm. I'm not sure if I should go for a biopsy or a PET scan next. Could you advise on what might be the best course of action?

My dad is 64 and has had a fever and cough for the past four days. We saw a doctor who suggested a COVID test, but it came back negative. We met with the doctor again and were told to do more tests. Today, we got the reports, and his CRP level is at 32 mglitre, and the X-ray shows a mild haziness in the lower left zone of his chest. I'm really concerned and wondering what could be causing these symptoms?

I'm having some trouble with breathlessness. I've been smoking regularly for just five days, but now I'm completely staying away from it. Even so, I'm still experiencing this breathlessness. What could be going on? Any insights would be really helpful!
