I'm a bit worried about my latest blood test results. My total bilirubin came back as 1.7. Is that considered high? Also, my SGPT and SGOT are both 20. Do these numbers mean I might have jaundice? I'm just trying to understand what's going on with my health.

Total bilirubin level of 1.7 is within the normal range (normal range: 0.3-1.9 mgdL). SGPT and SGOT levels of 20 are also within normal range. These values do not indicate jaundice. No treatment is required for these values.

I'm 23 and I've been dealing with constipation for the past six months, even though I eat well. I saw a gastroenterologist and followed their treatment plan, but the relief was only temporary and the issue keeps coming back. I take Meftal Spas for my period pain and read somewhere that this medication might affect bowel movements. Could that be causing my constipation? I also feel lazy all the time and have a thyroid problem. What should I do about this?

Meftal Spas, which contains dicyclomine and paracetamol, can indeed cause constipation as a side effect. To help with your constipation, you can try taking a stool softener like Duphalac (Lactulose) 15-30 ml once daily at night. Additionally, increasing your fiber intake with a supplement like Metamucil (Psyllium) 1 tablespoon mixed with water once or twice daily can also be beneficial. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day and stay physically active. If your symptoms persist, it's important to consult with your doctor for further evaluation and management of your constipation.

I'm dealing with piles and I'm really unsure about what to do next. Could you guide me on the best medicine to take for this?

You can use Anovate cream for local application to reduce pain and inflammation. Apply a small amount of cream on the affected area twice daily after cleaning the area. Make sure to maintain good hygiene and consume a high-fiber diet to help with your condition.
