I'm a bit worried because I did a CBC recently and found my monocyte level is at 13, though my WBC count is at a normal 7000. I stumbled upon some discussions online saying that high monocytes can be linked to cancer, and now I'm pretty anxious about it. I also made a mistake in an earlier message where I said my WBC count was 4200, and I'm not sure how to correct that. Do I have any reason to be seriously concerned here?

View allI recently got my blood test results and I'm a bit concerned about a few things that came up. The report shows that my PDW (platelet distribution width) is 18.9fl, which is 3.7 points above the normal range. My MPV (mean platelet volume) is also 1.5 points higher than it should be, and the PLCR (platelet to large cell ratio) is elevated by 11.5 points. But the MCV (mean corpuscular volume) seems to be normal. Could you help me understand what these high numbers mean? Is this something I should be worried about?

I'm trying to understand my CBC report. It says my RDW is high at 14.8. What does that mean? My MCV is 86.1, and my WBC count is 6800. Are these levels normal? I'm a bit worried about the high RDW. What could be causing this?

I'm looking at my CBC report and I'm not sure what to make of it. The PCV value is 35, which I understand might be low? Also, the neutrophil count is at 74, TC is 9000, and lymphocytes are at 21. Could you help clarify these numbers for me? I'm a bit concerned about the low PCV.
Low PCV (35%) suggests mild anemia, which could be caused by nutritional deficiencies or other health issues. High neutrophil count (74%) points to an active infection or inflammation in your body, most likely bacterial. Your total WBC count is normal, and your lymphocyte count is not alarmingly low.
