I'm a bit worried because I've been using this vcx vitamin C serum my doctor told me to use every morning after washing my face, and instead of brightening my skin, it seems like my skin is getting darker. I've stopped using it for now but noticed that the serum has turned dark and has a weird smell. Is it still safe to use? Should I be applying this stuff in the morning or at night instead? My skin's pretty sensitive and has a bit of a dark wheatish tone, so I'm kinda concerned. Any advice would really help.

I've been dealing with a fissure for the past 6 months and had to use sitz baths in warm water. Now I'm experiencing a burning sensation on my scrotum, and I'm also diabetic. The right side of my scrotum is painful, especially at the upper end. I'm really getting mentally frustrated with all of this. What could be going on? Can you help?

I'm so sorry to hear that you're experiencing a burning sensation in your scrotum, especially after dealing with fissures for six months. Given your symptoms and medical history, it's essential to consult a doctor, preferably a urologist or a dermatologist, to determine the underlying cause of the burning sensation. That being said, here are some potential causes and factors to consider: Potential Causes 1. Diabetes-related complications: High blood sugar levels can damage nerves and cause numbness, tingling, or burning sensations in the genital area. 2. Fissure-related complications: The sitz baths and fissure treatment might have caused skin irritation, leading to the burning sensation. 3. Scrotal dermatitis: Inflammation of the scrotal skin, possibly caused by irritation, allergies, or infections. 4. Balanitis: Inflammation of the glans penis, which can cause burning sensations in the scrotum. 5. Nerve damage: Damage to the nerves in the scrotal area, possibly caused by diabetes, trauma, or surgery.

I'm experiencing quite a bit of pain on the left side tip of my nose. It feels really sore to touch, but I can't see any pimples or anything there. This started in the afternoon, and I'm not sure what's going on. Should I be worried about it, or is there something I can do at home to help with the pain?

You can try using an antibiotic ointment like Mupirocin 2% applied inside the nostril three times a day for 5-7 days to help clear up the infection. Additionally, taking Ibuprofen 400mg every 6-8 hours as needed for pain relief can also be helpful. If the pain persists or worsens, it is recommended to see a doctor for further evaluation and management.

Hey, I've been using terbinaforce plus cream on my upper thighs for the last two weeks and the infection seems to have cleared up about a week ago. Should I keep using it even though it looks like it's cured? Just wondering what's best to do here.

It is not necessary to continue applying Terbinaforce plus cream if the infection has already been cured for a week. You can stop using the cream now.
