I'm confused about my test results. My chest x-ray came back showing PTB, but then I had a sputum test, and that was negative. Is it possible for these results to not match, and what could this mean for my health?

I recently got an X-ray, and it mentioned something about a thick-walled cavitory lesion in the right mid-zone with some surrounding consolidation. Does this sound serious? I've been dealing with asthma and using a Foracort inhaler, but recently I've been having a lot of issues with a runny nose and lots of sneezing. I'm not sure if this might be rhinitis or not. What do you think, and could you suggest some medication that might help with the runny nose?
