I'm confused about my test results. My chest x-ray came back showing PTB, but then I had a sputum test, and that was negative. Is it possible for these results to not match, and what could this mean for my health?

View allMy husband finished 6 months of medication for mediastinal lymph node TB, and I've attached his reports. Originally, his node was 7cm by 3cm. During this period, he gained 9kg, and while he used to have a fever, thats gone now and his cough is a bit better. But he still coughs around 30 times a day, and I'm counting each one. Could it be something serious like cancer since his cough hasn't completely cleared up yet?
