I'm really worried about my friend. She's been suffering from shortness of breath and finds it hard to breathe through her nose. I'm a bit worried because my HRCT shows I've got minimal pleural effusion on both sides. Most of my tests like CBC, thyroid, serum creatinine, serum uric acid, and CRP came back normal, but my ESR is 34. With this minimal pleural effusion, do you think I need pleural tapping? Plus, I'm dealing with some pain in my upper chest wall and upper back. Would love to get your thoughts on this.
