I'm dealing with a deviated nasal septum, and it's been bothering me a lot. I really want to go for septoplasty surgery, but I'm super anxious about the idea of using packing because I just can't breathe through my mouth. I'm based in Delhi. Is there any surgeon here who could help with a packing-free procedure? I'm really looking for advice or suggestions on how to proceed.

View allI'm dealing with this headache that feels more like intense pressure, especially at the back of my head behind the ears on both sides. Bending over makes it worse, spreading the pressure to my forehead. I had mucus thickening in my sphenoid, maxillary, and ethmoid sinuses about 34 months ago. I was previously recommended to use Azeflo nasal spray, which I haven't used in a while, but I tried it today and it didn't help. I don't have a runny nose or cold symptoms right now. Do you think this might be a sinus issue, and should I see an ENT specialist, or would it be better to consult a physician first?

I had wisdom teeth surgery on Friday, and I've been dealing with hiccups for the past 48 hours. It's starting to really hurt my chest and is making me feel nauseous. Is this normal after surgery, or should I be concerned? What can I do to relieve these symptoms?
The hiccups, chest pain, and nausea you're experiencing could be due to a combination of surgery, medications, or temporary irritation. While its common to have some discomfort after wisdom teeth surgery, if the symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend reaching out to your dentist or oral surgeon to ensure theres no underlying complication.

I'm feeling really anxious about this odd thing in the back of my throat. I managed to get a picture of it but I'm not quite sure if I can share it here or not. It looks like a small off-white square way back there behind my tongue. The wider I open my mouth, the more visible it gets, and it seems to bob up and down. Should I be worried? Any idea what this could be?
Based on your description, it sounds like you may have a case of tonsilloliths, also known as tonsil stones. These are small, off-white deposits that can form in the crevices of your tonsils. They can sometimes cause discomfort or a sensation of something being stuck in your throat. To help alleviate the symptoms and prevent further tonsil stone formation, you can try gargling with warm salt water or using a water flosser to gently dislodge the stones. In some cases, if the tonsil stones are persistent or causing significant issues, a doctor may recommend removal of the tonsils. In the meantime, you can also try using a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine or hydrogen peroxide to help reduce bacteria in the mouth and prevent the formation of new tonsil stones.
