I'm dealing with diarrhea since this morning and already took a Norflox tablet. For food, I'm sticking to bananas and boiled rice, and I'm hydrating with ORS. Is there anything else I should be doing to feel better?

Swallowing a bone can be uncomfortable.

Possible scenarios:

  1. Bone stuck in throat: The bone might be lodged in your throat, causing pain while eating.
  2. Bone in esophagus or stomach: The bone may have passed into your esophagus or stomach, causing discomfort or pain.

What to do:

  1. Stay calm: Try to remain calm and avoid panicking.
  2. Drink water: Drink plenty of water to help the bone pass through your system.
  3. Eat soft foods: Opt for soft, easy-to-swallow foods like yogurt, scrambled eggs, or mashed bananas.
  4. Avoid solid foods: Refrain from eating solid foods, especially those that may scratch or irritate your throat or esophagus.

When to seek medical attention:

  1. Severe pain: If you experience severe pain or difficulty swallowing.
  2. Vomiting blood: If you vomit blood or see blood in your stool.
  3. Difficulty breathing: If you experience difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.
  4. No improvement: If your symptoms persist or worsen over time.

If you're unsure or concerned, consider consulting a doctor or visiting an emergency room for further evaluation and guidance.

I'm really worried about my father. Weve used Dizone 250 mg before to help him stop drinking and it worked, but we stopped it for a year and he started wanting to drink again. We gave him one tablet with dinner and after a few days he felt really uneasy and started vomiting, just like last time. This time though, he had some blood in his vomit, which didnt happen before. Is it normal for this medicine to cause blood in vomit or should we be concerned about something else? I'm really worried about the blood part.

, forceful vomit may cause rupture of thin vein or capillary so vomiting may be occurred. Diazon is disulfiram an antialcoholic agent so it works.

I'm experiencing some issues and would appreciate your guidance. Since yesterday, I've been having loose motions and sour burps. Yesterday was toughI had a lot of stomach pain and just slept through most of the day, but the symptoms didn't seem to persist into the evening. However, today, as soon as I woke up, the loose motions started again with those same sour burps. Is this something serious or should I be worried enough to make a doctor's appointment? What could be causing these symptoms?

Given your situation, it's essential to consider the risks and benefits of immediate versus delayed surgery. *Risks of Delayed Surgery* 1. *Increased risk of complications*: A 17 mm stone is considered large, and delaying surgery may lead to complications, such as: - Gallstone pancreatitis - Cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder) - Jaundice 2. *Potential for stone growth*: The stone may continue to grow, making it more challenging to remove and increasing the risk of complications. 3. *Risk of gallbladder cancer*: Although rare, a large stone like yours may increase the risk of gallbladder cancer. *Benefits of Immediate Surgery* 1. *Reduced risk of complications*: Removing the stone and gallbladder now can prevent potential complications. 2. *Less risk of stone growth*: Removing the stone now will prevent it from growing larger and causing more problems. 3. *Improved quality of life*: Surgery can alleviate anxiety and concerns about potential complications. *Recommendation* Considering your age and the size of the stone, it's recommended to undergo surgery as soon as possible. The risks of delayed surgery outweigh the benefits of waiting.
