I'm dealing with this mild pain near my left jaw, just below the ear, and it's been happening on and off for about six months now. I saw an ENT specialist, and they had me get an X-ray of my mouth both open and closed, but everything looked normal. I'm starting to wonder what my next move should be. Is this pain something I should be worried about, or is it likely nothing serious?

Generally, 2-3 weeks after septoplasty and MMA surgery, you can start wearing a mask.
However, consider the following:
- Choose a soft, breathable mask (e.g., cotton or surgical mask)
- Avoid tight-fitting masks or N95 masks that may put pressure on your nose
- Gently place the mask over your nose and mouth, avoiding excessive tension
Consult your surgeon or healthcare provider for personalized advice, as they may have specific recommendations based on your individual situation.

View allIs it okay to delay gum surgery until June or should I get it done sooner Also are black gums something to be really worried about health-wise
It's generally best to address gum surgery sooner rather than later, and black gums may be a cause for concern depending on the reason. Delaying gum surgery can lead to more severe conditions and increased treatment complexity, while black gums can be a symptom of gum disease or other health issues.

My dentist recommended flap surgery for gingivitis but I'm not sure if it's really needed. Do I have to get the dental X-ray they mentioned or is there another way to check the problem?
yes advised.

I've been dealing with really bad tooth pain for the past two days. I've already tried the painkillers, ketorol dt, but it still hurts a lot. What else can I do for relief? Is there something else you would recommend? This pain is really getting to me.
pain could be because of tooth decay you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. Get an x-ray done if required. If there is cavity get it filled. If there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated.
