I'm dealing with a really bad cough that's been going on for many days now. Sometimes it's hard to breathe properly, and my chest feels heavy. Occasionally, green mucus comes out when I cough. Could you help me figure out what's going on and what I should do?

I've been dealing with continuous breathlessness and mild chest pain for the last 5 years, and it's really been affecting my life. My local chest specialist gave me some anxiety meds, and they help a bit but not fully. I've had ECHO and TMT tests in the past 14 months to check for heart problems, but they came back normal. Sometimes sleeping helps, but other times it gets worse when I'm trying to sleep. I'm feeling really restrictedI can't exercise or playand it's frustrating not knowing the root cause, which means I'm not really getting treated for it. Hey, I'm reaching out about my niece who's 13. She was diagnosed with typhoid in November, and they've been giving her really strong meds for that, along with malaria and dengue because she had a fever back then too. I'm experiencing chest pain and have a hard time breathing, plus I get tired really quickly and have a fever. Could this be related to a left pleural effusion? Can you help me understand what's happening and what I should do next?

Pleural tap is advised to the patient, pleural fluid for AFB examination and microscopy. Also complete blood count,esr ans c-reactive protein is advised to the patient.
