I'm dealing with some really uncomfortable itching and inflammation in my eyes, and they've turned really red. I can't seem to stop rubbing them. Could you recommend any eye drops that might help with this?

I'm having some trouble with my eyes lately. I've been using contact lenses, and over the last couple of days, my right eye has been hurting, especially when I blink or touch the area under it. This morning, I noticed the area was a bit swollen, kind of like a puffy eye bag, but after I applied a warm compress, it seemed to get better. There's no visible bump or stye, just slight redness. What do you think I should do about the pain?

I'm cooking and a drop of hot oil splashed into my left eye. It's really itching and burning, and I'm not sure what to do about it. Could you please help me figure out how to treat this?
You can flush your eye with clean water for at least 15 minutes to help relieve the symptoms. You can use lubricating eye drops like Refresh Tears or Systane Ultra to soothe the eye. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please consult an ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
