I'm dealing with this weird sensation where the left side of my mouth always feels itchy and slightly painful, almost like it's dry. It's just before my throat and past my left tonsil. This has been bugging me for months now. Sometimes, it reminds me of a mouth ulcer, but it just keeps coming back after a few days. Plus, when I sleep on my left side for a while, it feels uncomfortable because only my left nostril stays open, and the airflow directly hits that area. Any idea what might be going on here?

The MPDA (Malaria Parasite Detection and Antibody) slide test is primarily used to diagnose malaria.
It detects the presence of:
- Malaria parasites (Plasmodium spp.) in the blood
- Antibodies against malaria parasites
The test involves:
- Collecting a blood sample
- Preparing a blood smear on a slide
- Staining the slide with a dye
- Examining the slide under a microscope for parasites or antibodies.

My doctor recommended septoplasty in early February because I often feel suffocated. I have a really important exam in mid-March if I get the surgery in February, will I recover enough to handle both? Right now I'm using fluticasone nasal spray and taking oral allergy meds

my mom has about 30% hearing loss and we're wondering if surgery is the only option or are there other treatments that could help her
For 30% hearing loss, hearing aids are usually the primary treatment option, rather than surgery. Hearing aids amplify sounds and improve speech understanding, especially in quiet environments. While surgery, like a cochlear implant, might be considered for more severe hearing loss, it's not the initial approach for moderate hearing loss
