I'm experiencing a really bad pain and burning sensation around my anus whenever I go to the bathroom. It's been happening for a week now. My stools aren't hard, but it feels like a hot, chilli-like sensation in that area. I've tried using smuth cream and coconut oil, but nothing seems to help. Could you advise me on what to do?

View allI've been dealing with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and I'm feeling pretty confused about how to find the right treatment. Is IBS something that can actually be treated or am I likely to struggle with this long-term? I'm open to trying out different treatments, whether it's allopathic, homeopathic, or Ayurveda, but I just don't know where to start. Any advice on what might be the best route to take?

I keep finding mucus in my stool, and it's accompanied by stomach pain and going to the bathroom about three times a day. Plus, I've had no appetite. I've already tried metronidazole for a couple of days, taking two tablets after meals, but it hasn't seemed to help, and this problem keeps coming back. What could be going on, and what should I do to treat it?
add pre and probiotic tablet also
