I'm experiencing a sharp pain at the tip of my penis and some irritation on the foreskin. Can you recommend any general painkillers I can use until I see the doctor on Monday?

It sounds like you may be experiencing inflammation or irritation in the foreskin, which can cause discomfort. For temporary relief, you can take over-the-counter painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen, but make sure to follow the recommended dosage. Its best to keep the area clean and avoid any irritants until you can see the doctor on Monday.

View allI've been diagnosed with a 9.5mm stone in the upper left ureter and swelling in my left kidney. The pain is severe and daily. My doctor recommended Siddh Pan D, painkillers, and immediate surgery. Is surgery the only option or can I wait? How much time do I have before it gets worse? Are there other treatments I can try?
9.5 mm stone is difficult to pass on itself or with medications. For pain u can take tab drotin twice a day..there r two options for stone removal..either ureteroscopic stone removal or shockwave Lithotripsy..for that CT urography needs to be done to decide treatment modality.. serum creatinine also needs to be done

I'm really worried because I've had a swollen foreskin for the past three days. What could be causing this, and how can I treat it? It's been pretty uncomfortable, and I'm not sure if it's something serious. Could this be an infection or something else?
Kidney Stone Treatment: Hospital vs. Homeopathic Approach _Current situation:_ 1. _Diagnosed with a 5.7mm kidney stone_: Now reduced to 3mm. 2. _Severe pain_: Initially required hospital admission. _Considerations for leaving the hospital:_ 1. _Incomplete treatment_: You may be discharged too early, potentially leading to: - Stone growth or fragmentation - Recurring pain - Increased risk of complications (e.g., infection, blockage) 2. _Lack of medical supervision_: Homeopathic treatment may not provide adequate monitoring or address potential complications. 3. _Uncertain efficacy of homeopathic remedies_: While some homeopathic remedies, like Patharchatta (Bryophyllum pinnatum), may be suggested for kidney stones, their effectiveness is not extensively scientifically proven. _Recommended course of action:_ 1. _Consult your doctor_: Discuss your desire to explore homeopathic treatment options and seek their advice. 2. _Complete conventional treatment_: Ensure you finish the recommended treatment course in the hospital to minimize the risk of complications. 3. _Post-discharge follow-up_: Schedule follow-up appointments with your doctor to monitor your condition and adjust your treatment plan as needed. _Patharchatta (Bryophyllum pinnatum):_ 1. _Traditional remedy_: This plant is sometimes used in traditional medicine to help manage kidney stones. 2. _Limited scientific evidence_: While some studies suggest potential benefits, more research is needed to confirm its efficacy and safety.
