I'm experiencing some issues and would appreciate your guidance. Since yesterday, I've been having loose motions and sour burps. Yesterday was toughI had a lot of stomach pain and just slept through most of the day, but the symptoms didn't seem to persist into the evening. However, today, as soon as I woke up, the loose motions started again with those same sour burps. Is this something serious or should I be worried enough to make a doctor's appointment? What could be causing these symptoms?

Given your situation, it's essential to consider the risks and benefits of immediate versus delayed surgery.
Risks of Delayed Surgery
- Increased risk of complications: A 17 mm stone is considered large, and delaying surgery may lead to complications, such as:
- Gallstone pancreatitis
- Cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder)
- Jaundice
- Potential for stone growth: The stone may continue to grow, making it more challenging to remove and increasing the risk of complications.
- Risk of gallbladder cancer: Although rare, a large stone like yours may increase the risk of gallbladder cancer.
Benefits of Immediate Surgery
- Reduced risk of complications: Removing the stone and gallbladder now can prevent potential complications.
- Less risk of stone growth: Removing the stone now will prevent it from growing larger and causing more problems.
- Improved quality of life: Surgery can alleviate anxiety and concerns about potential complications.
Recommendation
Considering your age and the size of the stone, it's recommended to undergo surgery as soon as possible. The risks of delayed surgery outweigh the benefits of waiting.

View allI've been having this pain on the right side below my chest for the last two days, especially when I breathe and yawn. I've also been burping all day. This started after I was fasting on Saturday and had liquid fasting on Monday. I did take a gas tablet yesterday, but the pain is still there today when I woke up. I can't visit a hospital right now because of the lockdown and the situation outside. Do you think this could just be gas pain?

I've been having stomach bloating since last night, and I'm not sure what's causing it. My doctor mentioned doing a chest X-ray and an IgE test. Could you help me understand how these might relate to the bloating and what they would show? I'm a bit worried about what's going on.

I'm really confused about my H. pylori infection results. I've been dealing with gastritis for about three months now. After finishing two rounds of antibiotics, the first test still showed a positive result for H. pylori. I just had an endoscopy and the RUT test came back positive too. But then, on the other hand, the histopathology report from six biopsy samples says there's no H. pylori colonization. Which one should I trust?
It seems there is a discrepancy between the RUT (rapid urease test) and the biopsy results. The RUT is positive, suggesting H. pylori presence, while the biopsy shows no colonization. In such cases, the biopsy results are generally considered more accurate as it involves a deeper tissue sample. It would be advisable to consult your doctor for further evaluation, as other factors could influence these results.
