I'm feeling chest pain and noticing some fiber-like stuff coming from my mouth when I take steam after recovering from COVID. I'm worried it might be lung fibrosis. Can you tell me what might be going on and if there's any medication I should consider?

View allI'm really worried about my dad who's 71. He's been in the hospital for 8 days due to some respiratory problems and was found to have a lower respiratory tract infection. He's conscious but has needed ventilator support for the past 4 days. Could you please let me know if the treatment he's receiving sounds right? And how long do you think it might take for him to recover?
